Coptic art is the key to the connection between Christian art and Islamic art. Copts are Christians but in the Monophysite interpretation. The fact that the highest cultural splendour of this cultural group is in Egypt allows us to understand what weight the Copts were in the cultural exchange. We can find in the great art of tissues representations of women dancers, prayerful with huge eyes: the sum of characteristics presented in our study.
